We have more Homeless animals then Animal Shelters and they still take animals in every day. But to keep the Animals and take care of them cost money. You know that and I know that! So How can you help shelters and make animals happier? 10) look around in your Friends and see if they have maybe dog food left they don't use. You could bring that into a shelter. 09) Call shelters and ask them what they need help with. Maybe with transporting an animal to the Veterinarian. 08) Maybe somebody has some dog toys they don't need no more and you can bring them with some treats. 07) Volunteer at a shelter to walk the dogs. They are so happy not being locked up all the time 06) If you are long enough at the shelter maybe you can take one of the dogs home for the weekend. The dog would be so happy, 05) To take care of so many dogs and cats doesn't leave a lot of cuddle time, but that's what many shelter animals need.
